Great Garbage Patch
As a tribute to World Ocean Month this June, I urge everyone to learn more about the Pacific Garbage Patch, which is a huge vortex of plastic garbage floating in the Pacific Ocean twice the size of Texas! It is very disturbing and many people still don't know it exists!
Please reduce your consumption of plastics!

interesting and scary! I wish we would go back to glass, wood, textiles, and other natural items to replace all this plastic use.
I totally agree! It is so sad. I don't know how we will get rid of all the junk in the ocean!
Such a mess everywhere, so sad! I still dream we could just wish this horrible toxic rubbish away and live in harmony with the earth... one day we will I am sure of it!
